There are reports from all over that clone Starview boxes are dying after being flashed with the 260_e firmware. They seem to work ok for a while & then die if switched off at the mains. If you think you have a fake then either don't flash with the new firmware, or revert back to an older version.
I have hear of genuine starviews being killed by version 260 as well as the clones. so if you are using 260 you better change back before it;s too late.
