    Hey guys nt* seem to have done something in the dublin area. could some1 pls post new codes and tell me tha 4 digit code needed to get into that hidden menu?

    Press Menu then 1570 and press the "Set Default Key" , press OK , then go into Nagravision and input the codes , press OK to save each key data and tune into S*Y Sports and it should update for you

    No code change in Dublin since 13th March

    Press Menu then 1570 and press the "Set Default Key" , press OK , then go into Nagravision and input the codes , press OK to save each key data and tune into S*Y Sports and it should update for you

    N*hell Ireland gone again,bank holiday weekend so what do you expect.

    Anyone got the codes posted yet, I cant seem to find them.

    I keep getting a no signal sign, have the codes hanged again today or is there something else wrong?

    No there's been no code change today but check your codes with the codes in the main code page which you can find in the link at the end of this post marked CODES.
    Also make sure your cable is plugged in to the cable input at the back of the box and that the connection from your main point is also connected up tight along with the scart lead and see is the problem related to one of these.

    just want to say somethin in case it mite b of some help 2 somebody.
    My starview remote stoped working and my head was wrecked because i knew the remote was ok because it worked on the box downstairs.
    So I simply picked up the box and gave it a good ould shake and hey presto remote was fine again, hope this helps some1!

    Hello there wonder if you could help, im sick of updating codes all the time and have purchased a null modem cable and usb adapter my box appears to be original with 25 vents scarts on the left hand side of the rear, and remote is ok, but the firmware is from august 06 2.57e_E boot ver 7.
    what firmware vesion will i need to update to.

    All firmware/loader can be found in the link at the end of my post marked Eamos Library.

    You will need the GTromloader, (Starvi*w Software Uploader), found in the Starvi*w software folder of the link.

    You will need version 4.00 firmware for GENUINES found in "Starvi*w" firmware folder.

    Updating Firmware

    Connect your box and PC with a Null modem cable and switch on the cable box and put it on STANDBY.
    (The Starvi*w does not need to be connected to TV to update it with GTROM)

    Open GTROM Loader software make sure that you set the correct COM PORT
    that matches the one that is being used

    Make sure App file only is selected, then click Bin File & browse to the firmware where you downloaded it to on your PC.

    Run the GTROM loader by pressing Download and you will see the % progress increase
    then Download completed message on your PC.
    Wait until you see the DOWNLOAD COMPLETE pop up on your PC before
    removing the NULL MODEM CABLE. The Starvi*w will then reboot

    Disconnect from PC and connect back up to the TV

    Fergusrb - Really sorry I'm only new to this (& now thick & stupid aswel at this stage) .. but I honestly can't find the codes for March 26th under the link on your post ?? All I get when I click on the link below (highlighted in red) is codes for July 2007?? (Keep in mind I'm only new) :)
