nope that didnt work, there are no channels that I skipped there at all....I think I may have to restore to Factory Settings to sort this one out...any other tips that I could try??

 

were has all sky movie channels gone cant get any thanks

if you want to store your channel list order that took you hours to sort out do the folowing
[ for those that dont know how ]
1 - connect your pc/laptop to your starview
2 - goto user setup on the starview
3 - select S/W Transfer This will now open a box that apears to be awaiting a connection
4 - open GTRom Loader v4.oo and select Channel Data File
5 - Click Upload Locate and save your bin file on your hardrive. Id guess it would be a good idea to do this anyway as it will save you time if you ever need to reset the starview box.
its easy to put back on the starview when needed just use gt rom and send back to starview by clicking channel data file and download

I've just had a call from someone who told me his box is stuck in language section of user setup. If he can't get out of the menu is a reflash the only option

 

Hi, same thing happened to me and lost all movie channels. Did factory re-set and re flashed box with newest software (available earlier in this thread complete with instructions). All channels are back including movies but in different format, for example instead of s*y movi*s 1, it's now s*y come*y etc.

 

yes thats right as sly have changed the names of the movie channels to put them in order, also the channels all start a diferent times now

have a look for the channels under TV**** , i have it on TV1573 in my area

 

Hi, can anyone help please. I thought there was something wrong with my box earlier this week when the sky movie channels went off. I re-scanned but now can't seem to get into the parental control to get to the EMU switch. I got into PCon once but it just kept asking for password, new password, then confirm password. Is there an update I could add to my disk 'cos most of my channels are now locked.

 

i can't get premplus to work and i can't find the channel Tv1573 can anybody help? thx

it was for the attention off you just do a manual rescan on your box if you get stuck let us know.

 

hi guys, can anyone clear this up for me, i have read on another forum that there are cloned or copy starview receivers for sale on ebay and that these receivers work fine now but will be useless when the next firmware upgrade comes about, has anyone any information on this or how can we tell if its a fake box we have, i bought one from ebay last week and going by the other forum it appears i have a fake one, can anyone on here tell me what is the difference between the real and fake one's - any help is much appreciated as i want to contact the seller on ebay but i want to be sure before i do - thanks
