from what i can tell the remotes the biggest give away. The only genuine box that has the clone remotes are the pvr boxes. The clone remote has 2 notches on the back. not inluding the small one on the battery cover.

 

went to enter in the NEW N*L ireland codes and they were in there already? and it still won't work, any ideas? its strange I didn't have to type them in, I put in:

i am on ex c+ w and am on v3.00ee so mine is still running but for those on the older firmwares here are my codes try them and hopefully they will work for you

we cant really compare remotes as the copied remotes can be easily put with real boxes & vice versa! is there any defference with the box itself?

If your not sure if it's a clone or not, do this.......
Turn it off with remote, load 3.00 onto it, it'll turn back on by itself. Let it update itself, then switch it off with the remote again, and load 2.55 onto it. 2.55 works the best for N*L in Ireland, does'nt freeze like the newer firmwares.
