Hi hussain yes, what i did was change all my codes, not just nthell ones, i then changed my firmware to 2.59 and it worked, My box went off today though so i upgraded to 3.00 firmware and all is working again

 

Hi new user here.

Just recently bought Starview and person bought off emailed me the v3.00ee and updated fine when connected to my PC and working now today.

Just wondering how often in the past have these scrambled? Or is it case of how long is a piece of string as in you can never say how frequently they go.

No that has nothing to do with the 300 file since you done a factory reset all has gone back to when you first got the box you will have to re scan for you channels change the code and turn the emu back on it is up to you if you want to put the 300 file on or not what is on it now

I've tried that... I can't get into secret menu!... I't just doesn't do anything!

i AM NEW TO THIS FORUM.I see posing codes is a no no but surely we need this to update boxes right?Will it always be the same codes or do they change a lot?
Will they change everytime the Network Operators digital service goes down/out of service?

You should not have to use 300 again as when you put the 300 on it keeps the keyroll so when you go back to 259 it stays there and should update accordingly

 

Yeah Davey, change first 2 digits to D3 on key 00, confirmed, North Dublin.

I never get the option for emu "on/off". I've got the channels listed, but all scrammbled.

 

Yea have done I went from 2.58 to 2.55 to 2.59 but now I can't put anything else on it just won't work!

If you the 300ee api could you send it to me!

 

Nice one Fergus, I didnt realise that! So updating to 300eE and then downgrading to 257eE will solve the key entering problem? Thats fantastic!!!!!

es the code for ireland and uk work just make sure you are inputting the right code for uk or ireland as both are different

 

hi guys
i'm new to this starview box craze, and would like to update my starview box. I need to know how to spot a clone starview box from a genuine starview box. i have 2 boxes, one of the boxes is 10.5 inches across and 7 inches deep with the scart sockets on the back left side. the second box is 10.5 inches across and almost 6 inches deep and has the scart sockets on the back right side, are these both genuine or is one a clone?????

I'm very new to this so pls don't laugh if i ask silly questions. I just got my box 3 days ago and today i find that it is scrambled, threre only ver few channels on it. pls advise as to what i can do... I can I fix this proble,
I read on of the forums that stated that I could reset factory settings but that didn't help at all, it was exactly the same.
pls pls help

Get remote press menu then key in 1570 at the bottom of the list emu is there turn it on that should cure your prob
