anyone need uk codes? i found them hard to find too, as everyone is posting it all seperatley. i am going to test them out now, if it works i will give u my email address to ask me for codes.

I'm trying to flash with a USB to serial. I've installed the drivers and the USB port is recognised in device manager but not on the drop down list of com ports on the GT roam loader and advice please

I've already posted this once but so many people are asking for codes It's been swamped.

 

try changing com ports. mine worked on com port 4

were you using USB or just the null modem cable. What I want to know is should the drop down list now contain one for USB

 

I was using usb to serial port adapter with a null modem cable plugged in. the usb does not come up in gtrom loader. just try all the com ports one will work.

 

gtrom wont mention usb. a usb serial adaptor emulates a com port so gtrom thinks its communicating with a com port but its actually communicating with a usb port. go in to device manager, expand the ports(com & lpt) section, double click on the usb adaptor, click port settings, then advanced. make sure the com port is either 1, 2, 3, or 4. then select the same port in gtrom

 

Hya folks i know tensions are high ... but i was just wondering if anyone else had the same prob as me i have updated both the bin files and also inputted the uk codes my box was fine for a few days but now lost most channels the codes are still the same in the nagravision section on mine as when i changed for the ones here?
Just checking if anyone is aware if they have changed them again? or is my box just screwed?

Thanks for that. It's on com 4 but that has not worked either. I've just hooked up 2 SV's and tried SW transfer. Taht did not work either so I think it's the null cable thats stuffed

 

are you sure its a null cable? has it ever worked?

Steo, just out of curiousity can you explain how updating to 300eE and then back to 257eE will fix the key update issue. I would have thought downgrading to 257eE after 300eE will just mean you have to enter the keys again when they change.
