when the keys autoupdate you press the use default keys option. then when you downgrade the keys stay the same.

steo will 257 then automatically find the new keys when they change again or will 300ee have to be flashed to find the new keys??

 

no 257 does not have the autoroll function.

hi im new on here and my star box now wont let me change provider from n*l to c and .any ideas would be much appreciated.sorry figured out what i did wrong..hope now all ok but do i need to rescan after inputing numbers

 

no problem.i believe 300ee freezes sometimes but i suppose its a good way to get keys.have u heard any stories of processers burning out because of 300ee??i have it running on a s/v now for about a week and no probs yet??

 

ok, sorry for going on and on about this but just to be clear...

1. update to 3.00eE
2. select default keys
3. downgrade to 257eE

now when keys change again do I have to repeat steps 1-3 again?

Is there likely o be a fix for 300eE that will sort out the freezing channels problem so that we dont have to do the above every time as it would be easier to manually enter keys instead of going through the upgrade and downgrade process. Heres hoping....

 

Why are the so called "experts" spitting their dummies out when novices are asking questions about their box fixes.I thought that this forum was here to help people.Fair enough it is getting a little tedious the repetativeness of the codes and flash instructions but where do complete novices know where to look when they have been directed to this forum by a search engine?Grow up guys and stop going in the huff.Work together and remember we were all brand new once.

C'mon be fair! They are only trying to keep this forum going and trying to keep the amount of redundant info o a minimum. Makes sense to everybody else

I have to say in amazement i have been looking in on the side and people want to be led by the hand to the answer they just could not be arsed to look thru the pages to see how do you think we got our knowledge we just diden't wake up one morning and by a miracle it found its way in there be fair look around everything is there you just need to look
