To change to and from wide screen to narrow (16:9 to 4:3)
Press menu // user set up // (change on this screen )// exit out

Certain channels are better on 4:3 and some are better on 16:9 … change as and when required

TO ADD OR REMOVE BACK GROUND COMENTRY DURING SOME PROGRAMS OR MOVIES PRESS THE AUDIO BUTTON THEN MOVE UP OR DOWN TO TURN ON OR OFF

 

hello all you legends who have been fixing my problems for ages... i have but one question is there anybody here who has used the 3.00 software here in ireland... just heard someones box died coz of it???? thanks again....

 

As a complete new boy THANKS for your help but I think I have bought a clone 257.If I buy a new starview with 300 already loaded will it "repair" itself when needed if so where can Ibuy one

 

was it 3.00ee that made his box die cos ive been running it on my clones and genuines NO PROBLEM

some has and it worked ok

i myself done it and then reflashed with 257

 

not too sure to be honest!!! but i also have one of the "clones" and the new "the box" just dont wanna flash them and kill them off you know!!

t does not mean because it has 257 it is a cloned box

buy a genuine box from ebay and try 3.00 on your clone then reflash with 257 and it should run untill the next key change 3.00ee will update itself though yes

i hope you know but the so called "The Box" is a scam as well it is the starview in another wrapper

 

yeh harry how do you know its a clone 257 does not mean its a clone

anyway like i said i am running 3.00e on my clones and its updating itself

i think this clone stuff is a load of cac personally

 

quick go out and buy "the box " and pay an extra 60 quid for the new plastic front

keep ya cash and buy from ebay for under sixty quid a lot less than 60 quid if you look properly

 

using 300 in dublin
box has been on for four days solid and no probs at all

 

leave the rip of " the box" alone and keep ya money . dont get pulled into that con

 

well i paid the same amount for the new one anyway ... thank god!!! they had no more of the old ones "apparently" haha

 

Have they sorted out the freezing on v3.00 yet?
Oh another thing, why do you say the box is a scam?

 

dont get me wrong the box is good cos its the same as long as you get it for the right price WELL DONE

 

hi all.firstly a big thank you to tezzer and fergus for their continued help and support on here without them many of us would be watching nothing.just wanted to say i decided to bite the bullet and have flashed my clone (10.5 by 6 inches and the 2 grooved remote) with 3.00e tonight with no problems and no freezing issues.epg is better as is the aspect ratio on most channels.i shall keep an eye on the box and let you know how i get on as im sure there are many people in the same boat.
