    pfr108 what steps did you take to flash using your laptop./???

    how did you connect your rs232 to your laptop?

    Do we have any idea how many or what percentage of people are experiencing freezing with 300eE and where are they located or has it got anything to do with location?

    Tezzer firstly great work by both you and fregus. I have been following this forum for quite a while. Thought I would get involved as I think everyone has become some sort of expert at this stage with all the changes. That said I am in Dublin and would like to become a fellow guinea pig in the V3 upgrade. I have read all your reports and warnings.Will let all know how it goes. Personally I have now named the what is good box as what is bad box as "The Clone Wars". As this has seemed to have taken over all lot of the threads here.

    I tried flashing mine through laptop but it would'nt have it.I have the right lead cus it works of pc,but when i do it from laptop with a usb adapter it wont let me.Dont think it has anything to do with leaving it connected to your tv.

    Bought it yesturday, no good, follwoed instructions with new code last night, great worked. Switched on when me got home 2 nite no work, imputted new codes pg101, still no work????????
    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Please help me bros...

    first yes page 101 codes has been working for everyone

    next the v3 has got some bugs if you are having prob flash back to 257 or whatever except 260 and 261

    next we are giving our time and effort to help others but you have to help yourself as well we do not get paid for this we do this to help others it does not take much effort to read back over a couple of pages

    i dont know much, tezzer and ferg are the experts. but i can suggest something - in your hidden menu make sure your EMU is turned ON. (channels don't work if it is off).
