Starview Expert-**no email posting or BANNED**

hi Is it possible to have a starview box auto updating, if so can a pvr be done and where can i get the firmware.Im probably missing something here, searched but cant find anything

you need the v3.00 file it can be sent to you if you pm me your addy and beware it could kill your box if cloned manually inputting the codes is a better option

 

Mod if you are there is it possible to put the firmware up on the forum and how do i do it thanks

 

Shall i upload the firmware and link it on here? i dont mind at all, tons of bandwidth going spare

 

I have asked did not get permission yet so i would hold off till we do

I posted 300.00ee on page 86 including gtrom loader, reading through this pdf here a lot to take in but i think i have the problem figured out pity i don't have a dead box and if the fella who had the jtag maual could email it to me or post a link where he got it i would be much obliged!

 

Well, the only way around it is as i see is reprograming it using jtag, im going to go pick up the bits when i have time over the next day or two, possibly monday, i have me brother and his freinds stayin the weekend so im gonna have my hands full, but im gonna do the jtag failing that, the sky max up, all should be fine, if it does work, i may purposeley disable a box and make a video to show it being done, i wont be doing anything too fancy either, cheap n cheerful as i see it so hopefully, anyone with a little bit of knolege of wiring a plug could do it!


And i'll remove the file from the server if requested to

If anyone here has any Freeview recievers here that they dont want or are just sat in the dust doing nothing, any shape size make model, anything, if u dont want it, id be happy to take it off ur hands , when the kids are over it'd be heaven to have a quiet night where theres no fighting for who watches who, id just drag every tv out of the room n my bedroom so they can all have 1 each!
