1st gen boxes look like this also as this is what clone is of but check remote

Remote is the dead giveaway if your remote looks like this then its fake.

i wish everyone would stop calling the small box a copy!! it might be a 1st gen!! all we know is if its a big box its deffo a genuine, if its a small box it COULD BE a clone but could also be 1st gen

 

hello all as stated yesterday flashed my clone box (I think) yesterday with V3.00ee, and as yet everything still ok! The box is working fine so far and updated!

Check out the pictures of the boxes, my box is like the copy or clone, but the remote control is as the original. took a chance and did a flash with ver 3.00 original and all was perfect.

Fergus are you definitely sure its the same guy as it would almost definitely mean that this V3 clone firmware is a box killer.

 

can anyone help me please i want to download v300e but dont have a com port on my pc any suggestions

 

i figured out my box is genuine and decided to update to 3.00 and it sppears to be fine exept it might display scrammbled channel once in a while.....can someone tell me when the fixed firmware will be released

 

its just a matter of waiting, it usually doesnt take long! few weeks at the most

 

put the v3 on yesterday but its gone today can anyone confirm theres as gone on an original box in the notts n*l area

you can use a serial to usb converter and do it that way

available from any pc shop? and does this version stop you from putting codes in? and do you think n*l or vir**n will get fed up of changing codes ?

Available from most PC shops, PCWorld, Maplin etc, and yes V3.00ee means you do not have to re code.

As to whether or not they will get fed up... probably but who knows when!
