Hi everybody think my box may be a clone according to satdownloads however i have flashed with v3 and so far it's working and no over heating don't know if this helps anybody

 

tried 2.57 still the same eek

 

it doesnt kill clones straight away, anything upto a month

 

hi everyone,
a group of 5 of us bought sv boxes last week they have been down for 5 out of the 7 days. we have updated the codes twice. but still not all channels available can anyone help with the te**west codes for scotland please. we have already tried the codes on p119 (ab 1e 05 eb.....)

i wont hold anybody responsible -- because ive been so close to smashing it in the last fee days cuz the codes i was getting would not work or would last 30 min

ive only held back becuz spent £100. sooner or later i wont care and the bin is the nxt stop.

so if u can do me this favour (most appriciate it)...let u know situation once tested

hi guys,ive just bought a starview box (api ver 2.58e} and i am not very technical at this (am trying)but i need to buy the card for my computer which the rs-232 cable fits into,what do i ask for?
and once i download ver3 will it sort out the order of the channels cos they are bleedin all over the place and too many to sort manually(cant get most anyway)

 

i emailed you about 10 mins ago, i just added you to my msn

 

theres a pc app to sort channels. you can do it on sv but takes ages!

Go to Maplins and get a USB to serial RS232 converter. Make sure your RS232 cable is a female to female NULL Modem if not you can get one at Maplins make sure it says NULL MODEM on the box

You attatched the adaptor to the NULL MODEM cable and to a USB port on your PC.

 

hi people iwas running 257v software on starview all doller sign channels went of so flahed with 3.00v software reconnected box all channals working without rescaning.comparing pics from satdownloads mine orignal box i hope brought it 6 months ago for £90 with com cable im in t/w area brum to be axact. hope this is useful.

Can anyone help with my Starbox problem.? Bought it about 3 months ago, all working fine untill last month when it went down. Did the temporary key change until the update was available. Installled the update last week, since then nearly all the channels keep coming up "bad or scrabbled channel" for about 10 secs every fifteen or twenty minutes or so. Never had this problem before the update was done. Before I did the update I reset box like when it leaves the box. Emu is on etc. Its very annoying to say the least.

 

its a bug in the new firmware, it should be fixed soon

codes wont be released until the boxes go down.

there should be a link to the file somewhere in this thread, its called gtrom loader
