hi drew,trid that already,when i press ok i can get to main menu but when i try to exit it just goes back to language menu?????

 

Ferg I got it going with the other firmware! the one I posted on page 125! Did drew have any luck with the JTAG!

 

JJ67 you have to have stations tuned in before it will go anywhere else!

 

If when your going into the menu and its sticking everytime, reload he 2.57 firmware, could be a firmware problem

Ohhhh sorry i read your message about jtag then went for munchies and forgot to reply, sorry, the lil brats i sent home earlier tooday after destroying my flat last night, coke everywhere, wierdley mybrothers freind was in my bed this mornin (disaster! 8 year old and he'd soaked the bed in unimaginable stuff) and wasnt when i went there :/

glen,ive always had channels,no need for scan,my son was messing about and now stuck in language menu,i can get to main menu but when i try to exit it just goes back to main menu

 

Do you know, sometimes i wish people were on my doorstep so i could just toodle around n setup their boxes ! im in Rotherham btw if anyone wants to know

As for the box, can you actually highlight english/United kingdon? and press ok to go further or is the box not woorking at all when you go into language?

Did you change the code on your pin if so try 1557 override code if not try turning off the box and reboot could clear the problem

I had a good look at that CPU manual! Seems to me that it just needs to be reset! Oh and when loading files directly to a CPU like the file needed doing a JTAG fix on a dead machine STARVIEW-29LV160.bin delete the .bin CPU's of anykind will not recognise windows file types. Just to help Drew out a lil! But I reckon a CPU reset might just do the trick!
