Yes if you want to change it go to parental control change pin there ok my advice to you would be to change it so your son cannot make any more changes to it

I just rescanned my box but still can not find sky sport and movies. Also cheched every channel. After automatic search I found 218 channels including radio.

 

Ok the new Starview firmware thats deemed safe to use on all Starview boxes including clones and originals, thats all small boxes and the biggers ones is available to download below

As i said the mod has the power to give it to you if i had you would have it when i am a mod i will give it to you if i ever get there

 

This is what I have done:
1 reset to factory settings
2 select english
3 auto scan
after scan complete still only 218 found
4 go to back menue, emu on
5 cheked all channels, no sky sport-movies
6 manual scan enable network scan

Are this steps correct?

yes check your channels there could be no name on them look for somethin different or something with hid after it should be there

 

I found only 2 channels with s somthinf hid and they are sky movies but can not find the other 7 + sky sports

 

Just a quick message to those out there with alleged clones.

I have what is described as a clone and have flashed it with v3 and its all good so inputing codes every day. I believe the clone thing is a red herring started by a supplier who goes by the name of wizard.

Just to add I am new to all this and have got all the software and information needed to run smoothly in this thread. So suggest all newcomers to read it all before posting as I did.

And a big thanks to all the guys sharing the knowledge.

there is no sky movies 1 - 9 anymore they changes all the names to like sky movies classic and sky movies family

there are clones out there and the 260 file killed them

also the v3.00 we have released here is for all the boxes both big and small

the one you got i dont know from where but it could take up to 3 weeks to kill the box

and about W****** you are correct he released the 260 file that killed both clones and good boxes

Smoggy On page 125 I have a link to all you need to download channel lists and firmwares also in that folder is a tool called Starviewchanneleditor which allows you to edit your starview channels from your pc including putting them into favourite categorys and name changing!
