Hello everyone. Massive boxing fan and bought my starview box not long ago for Pay-per-view events etc. Had a few problems with channels losing sound/stopped working but just factory reset and researched with no problems after that. Just wondering if its possible to watch the major boxing/sports events on the box? Found a live evnts channel, but dont know if the sport will automatically appear or it I need to do anything. Please let me know. appreciate any comments.

 

hi guys. im new to forums and new to starview. i bought one for my dad and the old git kept pressing the wrong buttons and lost everything. any ideas how to retrieve lost data. im from ireland if that makes any difference.

 

i am a big boxing fan to .. just turn to the chanel when its on and all will be there to watch

Hiya all. Newbie here! Just been to pick my starview box up from the delivery place and I am stuck at work til tomorrow night!!! All sounds a little confusing so will be prob be asking for help tomorrow night! How do you know which file you are running with? the guy on ebay that I got it off said 2007 version - any good or will I be having to faff around with my PC? (Not looking forward to that at all!)

someone told me that n*l are going fully digital soon and this will render the starview box useless as they can then change the signal any time they like. Is this true? and if so,, is there anything else we can get to combat this disaster?

Hi new user here. Just downloaded 257 used to have 258 but my box shut down and I now have 4 scolling lights at the front? Have turned off and turned back on and same thing. Can anyone help? Did this as no SS 1 & 2.

when you flash did you wait til the pc said download compleat ,, this happens about 30 seconds after it says 100%
breaking the contact before it says this will result in this type of error

ok great 259 is usualy best only in ireland
anyway as long as your up and running

Hi all, I am also in rep Ireland. Whays the best/latest ver to use? Just got the box and its on 255. Does everyone elses box get pritty hot and have a slight electrical smell?
