How long is it before the clones die with v3
Had it on mine for almost a week and i must say so far so good no freezing or anything like that.

It could take 3 weeks but somehow i dont think this is going to happen have not heard anybody else say there boxes where dead yet using v3 but still early days yet

when it was released

 

i wonder how tezzer is getting on with his 300 test box.

do not try the 260 file it will defo kill your box

about tezz i would say he is back here somewhere

I had got it but deleted it when all the boxes started to die in case i used it by mistake

its ok i got it. ive compared it to the 300 file. theres a few differences but not that much. you'd think a version change would be totally different but it aint!

 

well if that is the case what seems to be the problem with it killing the boxes

 

i got the 2.57 and 3.00 from here, i had 2.55 on box put on 2.57 then 3.00 and then back to 2.57. does that sound right to save me putting codes in manually. also lads fair play to u all a lot of help has been given out.

 

all the changes dont contain text, just jumbled up cr*p. i cant really go any further at this point! surely there must be a firmware editor out there!

can you help please ? my friend has the 300ee on his laptop but he only has a usb port , is there a special cable ie usb-rs232 ,if so what is it called ? thanks...

 

you can get a usb to serial adapter at any good computer shop. this should be used with a null modem cable.
