    sorry just wondering im getting vibes that EURO BOX seems to be better than s/v box but does it get cut out the same as s/v boxes

    i was actually just thinking about the eurovox myself, its slightley higher priced than the starview, but i dont know anything about it ut im sure i read somewhere that it is based on the same thing as starview isnt it?

    The eurovox is the better of the two as it autorolls by itself no need to put codes in

    I was also thinking the same as you and browsed ebay to see what was going on, but then again, id be bored if things didnt stop working every now and again!

    not realy, a long time ago i used to use DOS 6.2 and use write or qbasic lol, those were the days!

    text editor? for what editing a bin file. Or viewing the bin file.

    editing. ive been using a hex editor to view and compare files but i want to a program that lets me edit the file

    Like, make your own firmware. Or change a few bytes here and there

    I'm not sure if there is a program out there to do that. I have no idea what language the starview firmware is written in.

    can any one help me i have had my sv box pluged in for about 3 mounths, and had my t***w*** box unpluged, today i went to plug my t***w*** box in and i have lost all the channels that i pay for (only basic package) but i dont want to ring t***w**** up incase they start asking questions what do you think?

    I have a eurovox...where or how do I find the codes on it so I can use them for my starview when the codes change?? any help please...much needed.

    I am saying that there probably isn't a program out there for specifically editing starview firmware. It is byte-code so firstly you'll have to find out what language its in, then you'd have to find a decompiler then edit it in a normal text editor then recompile. Very Complex if you do not know what language it is written in.
