hi, try all the following numbers but to no avail 1570, 1507, 1668, 9999, 0000, 2004,1573 it will not accept any of them. Is there anything i can do to reset it

sorry to trouble you again but i have tried two pcs and they both don't have the port to connect the star view through teh rs232 lead. I have tried with two dell pc's bth only quite new. What else can i do? It sounds like the download will work but if i can't get it hooked up how can i fix it.

 

Hello all can anyone tell me how to turn EMU on in a starview box. I done a factory reset but cant get any channels back.

 

For Sauvo: first press menu, parental control and press ok,now press info button then the numbers 2 0 0 4 then move down to the key emu and change the option to on and press ok and exit to tv.

You probably have the wrong cable. I pulled my hair out for 4 days the first time i tried to update my box, only to find i had a serial cable and not a null modem cable. these cables are IDENTICAL to look at but only the null modem will work. got one off ebay for a few quid. problem solved.

hi paddy, im on southside of dublin and was running 259 but it kept freezing so iv'e gone back to 257 and everything is running fine hope this helps

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THE TIME ON MY STARVIEW THE TIME AND EPG GUIDE IS WRONG.

ALSO SKYMOVIES 9+10 ARE SCRAMBLED OR BAD CHANNEL BUT THE REST ARE WORKING FINE.

255 firmware works for sure so if i were you id stick with 255 to be save.
