just the one question .not including the past week or so ,when was the last time the boxes went down

 

Works fine with 257e which predats v3. Clearly if it works fine with supposed clones (which I'm not sure exist) then there is a hardware compatability issue. However I can so no reason for adding a fan. The best solution is to flash back to 257e and wait for new software.

 

You only need the codes for your area.

 

Here is a fix for the clones getting good reports that it works well .

i manually deleted some channels by mistake now i cant get them back, tried auto & manual scan...any ideas

 

Go to factory reset delete channels , the go to installation and auto scan , next parent control hit info (nothing appears on screen when you hit info ) then press 2004 go to EMU using arrow on remote switch Emu on , exit exit exit go to a pay per veiw channel and let it update , your done .

i have been informed to update softwear to solve problem with no channels, i get bad or scrambled channel then it updates again and again but nothing happens, hence i need all that i require to fix problem. i am new to starview,so very naiveon what to do.thanks
