yes its fine now- as if nothing has happened but sweated for a moment when it hit 100% then said burning flash.thank god its ok lol

 

Thanks for the advice , I have the files and just put 255 followed by 257 on it , hopefully it will stop freezeing , any news on a stable version of 300 ?

 

Can anyone let me know how to save my re arranged channels nto my hard drive for the next time I have to re scan ..........P

 

in GTROM LOADER click channel file then upload

 

It just frooze again , any other ideas ?

when i saved the document i made it a read only file using the "mark final" feature in word 2007. I dont think this feature is available in previous versions therefore dont know whether it will work properly

 

Hi I have a *view box the remote control, manual and the box all seem real but the box its self is smaller like the clone but freezes when installed v300ee but works fine with 257e – is mine a clone or not? Thanx in advance.

 

if its the small box its either a clone or a 1st generation genuine box.

 

can anyone give me some advice i have 257e software on my starview but have looked through the forum and everyone seems to be uploading v300ee is it worth me changing mine and if so does anyone have the file and the gtrom loader that is legitimate thanks

 

installing v3 is risky, the last update killed the cloned boxes. people are doing it at their own risk but i must say it is looking good so far. i reckon if it was going to kill the boxes it would have done it by now. if you search this thread you should find the files

Did you manage to get drew to put the other file up yet
