Wheelsy,check my post i think its on page 164,this just happened to me,i didnt think it was correct as i have flashed starviews many times and never seen the likes of it b4 ,anyway i didnt even unplug the box from the comp i just ran the downloader again and tried again with v3.00ee and it worked this time but it had wiped all my saved channels and everything- i have had to rescan and setup from scratch.

just to let you know that the supplier i get my boxes off for friends and relatives is now sending them with the v300ee software and they have had no problems at all and when companys have been changing codes their sv have stayed on where obviously i have recoded so it cant be that bad surely and they have said nothing about freezing

Bought a star view box in Ireland using n**, box is API ver : 2.55e_E, boot version 7.0, dated 22 July 2006. codes changed and box not worked since.I have tried to make the changes as per thread but to no avail. It tells me it is updating.

I keep getting scrambled or bad channel.

I do not have an rs 232 cable.

This is what I did per page 42 of thread

Into the hidden menu with EMU on,keyed in codes 3b d5 b1 4a 53 e0 71 6c, into 01 I keyed cb c9 bb a1 1f 39 ff 86 and hit ok

Message on screen is Data is being updated with a %,up as far as 540% and then starts again with data being updated.Seems to be caught in a loop.I have left it for more than 10 minutes.

Can anyone help me please ?

Lorna did you change to your correct cable provider at the top of the screen once in nagravision,then entered your codes once that cable provider is at the top?

 

theyre the right codes. are you pressing OK after each code?

 

i have done it myself thinking i was with n** but found out iwas with c&* put thone codes in and piff paff poof working try different provider codes

The new codes for Ireland are on page 155 for Ireland and the Uk just make sure you get the right ones also the codes changed last week again

 

So whats the verdict on 300 API. Should I put 259/257 back on.

 

Still going after a week on v3 hopefully won't c & b later lol

 

Lorna, they are not the right codes for ntl Ireland, you need to look through the forum, I just did one today and it worked fine, your codes are wrong and I cannot post any so just look through the forum and you will find them.

 

We are not sure we still have no reported dead boxes yet only thing that has been reported is the real box is freezing on it where the clone is not cant say any more than that
