Guys,

Does anyone know if I can arrange the channels on the starview box in the order that I want them. Also,there are a few "favourites" lists. Is it possible for me to e.g. use one as movie favourites,2 as music channels, 3 as sport and so on...?

Ah man, is this really true?Surely in the digital age there must be something out there. OK here's one. Where would I get the codes and tutorials on how to actually just unlock some of the sky channels? I heard there's a site out there or something?

Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to record a cable channel while watching terrestrial channel (Beeb 1 & 2, ITV, C4 & C5) at the same time &/or the other way around??

Am running V*M in N.I. and would appreciate advice best method of setting up new Starview STB.

I dont want to sound rude but (dude read your manual) everyone one needs a bit of help now and again but I think people should start reading all of the thread to see if the answer is there or read their manual first.

movies are there twice you dont need the p.i.n.

look for chanels named
smclassicshid
smpremhid
smprem1hid
plus more named similar starting with the letters "sm"

plus more named like this ,,, these are the new names for the movies and no pin is needed

hi, my starview box has gone off, there is nothing but a black screen, when pluged in it says on the goes to 0, can any 1 please help

i have tried connecting my ntl digital box in my room the starview is in th living room.
when ntl digital is hooked upto my room tv i get jumpy picture mixed clours anyone know what i could do about this

 

ive just tried it now, and a message comes up saying flash update fail ive tried 4 times and everytime same message comes up

 

sounds like the flash rom has gone

faulty box i am afraid

r u flashing through a laptop with rs232 to rs232 usb adapter,
it,s only a thought,..happened to me,..i had the wrong rs232 cable
theres 2 1 for data, 1 for patching,.. if your not?,the previous post is right.

Hi all.I have just added some channels to my favourites and now no matter what i do i can only watch the channels that are in favourites! Am i missing something obvious but i cannot get back to viewing the other channels i seem to be stuck with only the few favourites and im missing the utd match! Please help

 

try pressing the fav button and going to " all "

if not go to menu / channel order then straight to the itv 3 channel

 

Thank you tezzer im back to normal! One last thing i have added two different sets of channels as favourites movies and sports but they have all gone into one favourite,is there a way of splitting them up as i see there are five lots of favourites you can add.when i add favourites they all go under fav 1.Any help greatly appreciated

 

as you go down the list doing you fav listings dont forget to press right on the remote to change to fav 2 and agian for fav 3 and press ok to accept..

its hard to explain
