it does not matter what firmware you have on the receiver, you will pickup what ever channel that is broadcasting by the cable company

    these 2 new channels SD1_hid , SD2_hid, started a few days ago.
Basically the HD Movie Channels broadcasting in SD (Standard Definition)

funnily enough putting it together wasnt the problem, I spent most of the time trying to install drivers for the capture card. not compatible with vista so I had to install good old xp again!

Soz abotuy being a noobie but ya got to start somewhere.
My current box is a 2.57EE, Im on NTL/Virgin in Notts. box worked fine uptuntil a week or two ago. Found a new code.. updated that worked for 3 days.. went away for the weekend. came back and the box is down again.
    1) is it always like this? I.e. do you normally have to update every week or so?
2)Ive put the latest codes for NTL but the $$ channels etc are still stuck at the old 150% etc data is being updated error.

Do I have to flash the box to get this to work or something else. as am definitely using the NTL UK 00 and 01 keys.
Thanks alot for help guys anyways
