check all wiring and connections. make sure you are searching on the correct cable network

All connections are good, I've tried dirrerent cables but same issue. I'm on the n@l network, didn't have any issues setting up other boxes,

crobird,check software version in the system information you should be running 257 to get anything decent,also i live in a n*l are but a scan under that showed 0 channels i had to scan with ex c+ w , and got 300 channels.

 

[do i ust connect the two and press download

am running 257, also tried all the other network scans, no luck.
Does anyone know if there are dip switchs inside the box,maybe one is set wrong,but don't want to open box as it is only 3 days old. may ruin warrenty.

load the bin file into the gtrom downloader via the bin file box on the downloader,all the other settings on the gtrom shouldnt need touching,make sure the app file only box is checked, then connect your box up to your comp with your rs232 cable and click download- dont disconnect until you get the download complete message - usually about 20 secs after the 100% mark

 

theres no dips or jumpers inside. try selecting a different network before you scan

 

odd one that crobird,i suppose as a last attempt a factory reset is worth a try then reflash it with 257 firmware and try and scan then,factory reset code should be all the zeros

i changed the virsion to255 and puy in 1570 and changed he emu to on still nothin

Tried at 2 different cable points also tried in Brothers house,

cinty now you have done all that and turned the emu on,if you go to a channel that was scrambled you should have a black screen with a blue box in the middle saying updating , once its updated your screen should then come to life with the picture.try going on to s*y sports and waiting for 30 secs- what happens?
