yes i have entered these codes and it still shows no programs after i scan do i need a software update forthis box as i live in dublin and this box came from the UK ?

 

I'm in dublin too so the codes are working. Did you press ok to save the codes and make sure your emu is switched on.

I have no idea how the codes were generated. I got them from the guy who supplied my starview and decided to help others who couldn't get them.

 

yes i pressed ok and yes the emu is turned on. the box just arrived today from the UK, what i need to know is, do i have to put any software update on the box to get to work here in dublin. I know there was a problem everywhere for the starview boxes that aside is there anthing i need to do apart from change the key codes.

 

i'm using 2.55 and the code works but my friends 2.57 isin't working, any idea why???

 

The Replay Lite doesn’t seem to be working on NTL Dublin WEF today... dose anyone know why and how to fix it...only have RTE2 and TV3 all others say 1800 scrambled. I know this forum deals with the star-view box but I would be most grateful if anyone could help or guide me in the right direction.

 

I'm a bit surprised people are asking. There is a logical answer and even if thats not it lets just ge happy they are available

 

version 255 and 257 work best for ireland.

 

OK Fellas. Obviously had problems also (Norwich). Done a factory reset, but probably no need!!!!!, Changed the key codes for ex c+w, but also noticed that at the top of the screen where the codes are you have to make sure it says c+w, if not scroll through till you see which provider you are with (Left or right). For some reason this had changed so when i changed the codes it did not work. After i selected c+w and then changed codes 00 and 01 and made sure the EMU was on it worked fine. These codes are for ex c+w only:
00: 1F EE 87 F9 E3 FA 2A AB
01: EC 05 9C B0 3B 95 A2 A7

CHECK AND DOUBLE CHECK YOU'VE DONE IT RIGHT. It took me 3 or 4 attempts before it worked.
Now i've got to sort out the channel order again.!!!!!

----- MANUAL INPUT ------- REPLAY & LITE ---------


1. Menu

2. Installation

3. Parental Lock

4. Red Audio Button for Goto Key Manager

5. Choose the top option and turn OFF the auto update.

6. Press the Blue button to choose the NAGRA option

6. Three left arrows back take you to 'Prov ID 0x5B' which is TW 4 back is 'Prov ID 0X55' is Ntell and 0XC1 is ex C&W etc

7. One down arrow takes you to the 0x00 - i.e. Key 0. Press OK

8. Up pops the HEX Keyboard - just type in the new numbers - it puts the dots in for you. Do this for Key 01 as well.

9. Exit out -should be sorted.

then enter the following keys
IRISH NTHELL KEYS

KEY 0 = 3B D5 B1 4A 53 E0 71 6C
KEY 1 = CB C9 BB A1 1F 39 FF 86

How I have sound but no picture???
when I entered code it worked fine how cant get the menu up no image

 

Panzer, Check your scart leads, you might find your problem there.

 

all connection secure..When I entered new codes worked fine 2 mins later no picture
