hi tommy, My starveiw is working well, however im not getting local news channel! in in the granada region but getting Londons news on itv, how can i reset it?

Hi there, great thread, really helpful. I have a question which has been partly answered previously. Basically, if i have the mains co axl cable going in to my starview box, then another cable coming out of the back of the starview box into my n*l box, would that be enough to allow talk back from original n*l box (to satisfy n*l) while allowing starview to run undetected?..Thanks in advance, Great thread..

Lost sound on all channels, this has occasionally happened on selected channels but has always come back. Tried factory reset. Has been gone for 2 days now. Grateful for any help Thanks

 

have you tried removing your plug from the wall,then plug back in,usally sorts it

 

hello tommycomm, i hope that you can help me.

i have recently purchased a starview box which is running api ver 2.58e boot ver 7.0.

my problem is that all the channels that i want to watch are scrambled.

i have tried installation and then going to parental control and typing 2004, but nothing happens when i press the info button? have also tried deleting a scrambled channel then doing a manual scan with network enabled, again with no luck.

WHEN YOU PRESS PARENTAL CONTROL THEN PRESS INFO ON YOUR REMOTE 2004 THEN SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN AND MAKE SURE THE EMU IS TURNED ON .

 

i go into parental control but nothing happens when i press the info button. all i get is the "old pin" and "new pin" options????

 

after you press the info button you then press the keys 2 0 0 4 then turn e.m.u. to on

i go into parental control, press info - nothing happens. i then type 2004 and press ok - no secret menu appears and nothing that says emu. the cursor just asks again for old pin???

Do you think i need to download some software to my box?

 

if your running 258 change to 257 its more stable and is far better

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help. I've just bough a splitter and 2 f plugs from maplin. When I connect my splitter up i lose sky sports one and some other channels. The signal strength drops to 0% is there anything I can do to have my starview and VM box working. So I can use the VOD as well.

bertie buck, re splitter you need a better quality cable from your splitter

 

hi soz about that im new on here and i have a big problem with one starview box i have bought i do an auto scan it goes to 100% says info wait for saving channels then instead of saying 277 found it crashes and turns off tv and starview box its a real pain in the arse is the box nackered
