suzzie the easy way to do it is flash the starview with the new 3.00ee bin file and it should work fine

if not reflash with 257 and all the key will be still there from the 3.00ee file and your up and running

257,..no good,..if 300 dont work,..258 is required

 

Hi cpz001. i'm not N*L, i'm Ch*rus in Nass. Is there a seperate code for Ch*rus and if so what network do you put in the installation menu as Ch*rus doesn't come up. Tanks.

 

257 works fine for me no probs as long as 3.00ee was loaded first

 

Hi i have a new starview software vesion 2.60. Does this mean thats its a genuine starview and therfor i should be able to upgrade to 3.0. I only ask cos about every 30 mins i lose the channel for about 15second and then it comes back on. am i right in thinking flashing to 3.0 and then downgrading to 2.7 will cure this problem whilst still running any auto updates it finds neccessary. Or is it worth holding out to a more stable version of the software is available. I understand that 3.0 works fine in some areas. I live in Oldham and used to have N*L, but when i ser up the box i had to use ex c&w. Any advise would be much appreciated.

 

flash 3.00ee and if its unslable drop back to 257 although 257 is not working in all areas then if its still not working flash with 258 yes a piss on but it will work . but you must flash first with 3.00ee either way wether you go back to 257 or 258 its up to you

257 work well for me but not working for others so its trial and error i guess

but does tezzer know if my box is a clone or original?its the small box with the controller with just one finger groove in the back dont wanna flash 3.00 untill i know for sure

tezzer cant tell without seeing the box
it sounds like a 1st gen box and not a clone as the clones use a different remote to the one you mention but dont hold me to that cos i would need to look closely at it

its not a cloned remote by the sound of it lets put it that way

 

damn it still no more of an idea then
