Starview Expert-**no email posting or BANNED**

Hi yes i have the r32 9 pin cable, but i have an r32 to usb adapter as my serial port on the back of my comp is already took by my monitor,i hope the r32 to usb adapter will work ok with the 9 pin cable that came with the starview box

sorry to be so naive but am getting a digital cable receiver and dont know which is the best starview,replay lite or dreambox.have checked each one out but the more i compare the more confused i am.is there any differance?my friend has a reply lite and gets 141channels on ntl,my mam has a starview on sky and gets about the same.i am on ntl in dublin and any advice would be appreciated.

 

i would always go for the starview as there is more suport than any other box and only 75 quid on ebay

easy to upgrade and use

 

I agree with TEZZER007 starview is simply the best to choose because:
* There so much support just on this website
* It's so easy to get the flash BINs
* There's no need to call a professional when things go wrong.

 

One word of caution about the Starview is there does seem to be quite a few people who are unable to update their box. I've updated two and been unable to update a third

 

I've had no problems updating mine.
Only problem being finding the file.
But that was found in about an hours search.

I am new to this thread and forum lark, but please somebody help me, please please please!! I have a Starview box, but have to install the update software 255 version, because I live in N Ireland, but lo and behold cannot find it anywhere.

If someone could come back to me with any info it would be gratefully appreciated. It would also get people off my case.

hi, i've accedently deleted my channels then i got them back but they don't seem to work exept channels 1 2 3 4 5 can u help plz thx.

 

to get the cannels back you have to turn the e.m.u. back on
pm me for more info

 

i'm not realy good with this can u help me out step by step in getting the channels back thx .

 

press menu, parental control, press ok.

press the info button then the numbers 2 0 0 4. Move down to Key Emu and change option
to on.
Press ok , then exit back to TV Screen.
.Go to scrambled channel and wait for it to unscramble the channels
then watch

 

i've just turned on my emu and got my channels back but none of the SKY MOVIES SEEM TO BE WORKING. CAN ANYBODY HELP PLZ. THX
