    manutd99,

what i mean is the new boxes which is selling outside is all good.
and for the boxes which were sold before.. you'll have to fix the EP rom .

    i agree with mikeygb69
more trouble than its worth i will defo never ever buy another starview box or the box againe and would advise anyone this, genuine or not , and i thinK whoever made the file to destroy the so called clones is the wrong thing t do cos its puts people off buying any starview including the real ones

MY ADVISE IS STAY AWAY FROM STARVIEW ALTOGETHER AND GET A DBOX2 OR SIMALAIR

I am in Ireland so I ordered mine from a local supplier. there are plenty of suppliers to be found if you google it. I don't think there are any clones for this box so it should be safe buying it from the cheapest supplier.

    To TEZZER007 & mikeygb69.

I agree to you guys too. up to now the best cable box to be Eurovox Max 3. (both the 2006 and 2007 version is still working).

I myself have 1 eurovox 2006 version with the new 2007 software and never had problem with it.

The problem is most people will look at the price difference and go for the starview. Obviously anyone buying "the box" will need their head looking at as by the sounds of it the there is alot better out there for the same price.

i have never seen a forum with problems as much as this one and starview

theres so many people with so many problems its unbeleivable

look at other forums about dbox2 etc and theres a fraction of problems compaired to this starview

I have never read about any problems with eurovox max but I have read a few about dbox2 not updating. I think the eurovox is the better option.
