is dere anyway to enhance the amount of channels u recieve ?? any info mch appreciated

 

my sv box is 10 1/4 by 7 1/2 by 2 approx. how do i find out what it is flashed with 257? etc. i got no disks or cables with mine

 

do a channel scan then sort them out into fav.

best to save your much hard work when you have done the cannels so that next time you flash you can then just flash your sorted chanell over as well

to do this sort out ya chanells and favs then

1 - connect your pc/laptop to your starview
2 - goto user setup on the starview 3 - select S/W Transfer This will now open a box that apears to be awaiting a connection 4 - open GTRom Loader v4.oo and select Channel Data File
5 - Click Upload Locate and save your bin file on your hardrive.
to put them back on just open gt rom and highlight the chanell data box and download

easy and save a lot of time

go to menu and go to system info at the bottom to find out what version you have

seiko81 you can but cables from that big auction site everyone knows about for two quid or maplins for a tenner

make sure its the null serial modem type female 9 pin type or it wont work

I live in shropshire telford area.I flashed my sv believed to be 1st gen on sunday morning with the 300ee file.I would like everyone to know that it is working without any flaws and it as been on ever since .The aspect ratio is sorted epg is faster,no freezing or anything ,so far happy days.

i dont think that version is working at all

you need to manually entre the keys or flash with the latest bin file 3.00ee

3.00ee only works well in some areas and freezes in others

but you could flash with 3.00ee then start up your box so that it updates the keys then flash it back to 257 and it will be more stable and the keys will be right

get your cable first as you cant flash without it

 

you could load 257 file a hundred times it wont work

nice one mine works good on it too

is yours defo a 1st gen and not a clone
cos if its working well on a clone it helps me a little as i have two here to do

tezzer mate its working perfectly but i probably would be better to flash anyway anytime i go to have alook at 3.00 version and download it it keeps coming back saying cannot find server any ideas

 

DO I NEED TO SORT OUT THE CHANNEL BOUQETS MYSELF OR IS THERE ONE I CAN FLASH ON READY MADE THANKS.]

Not 100% sure i av right remote ect ,it is the small box same description has the clone but everything else felt right with it so i went for it.Cant complain at the moment it as had a pretty good run so far.Still time will tell.

Have you flashed your clone box with the 300 file if so keep us all updated as to what is happening with it
