Yes I orginally use n*l, but now I've tried C*W and TW after entering
all the relevant codes - still no luck - absolutely nothing.

Andy thoughts?

i have version 255e he told me i should flash to 3.00 but every time i go to website it says cannot find server so he told me to send e-mail and he would give them to me (help lady in distress.)!!!!

Guys , i got my two clone bxs working today with an idea from tezzer!

No matter what i tried , none of the software would get them working.

I simply loaded the 300e software onto the bxs.. then put on the 257e software..
It seems the 300 corrected the problem, then allowed the 257 to work afterwards..
Also my real bxs were freezing on the 300e around every hour..
(I was getting bad channel then it was going of for a few seconds.)
I did the same thing and loaded the 257e on over it ..
problem sorted

Hey guys,

got an sv box with API ver 2.58e_E boot ver:7.0 dated 18/09/2006.

when i go to installation and manual scan it finds all channels but all come up with a black screen apart from bbc1 - five. I did not get any cable with the box and dont have a 9 pin f-f cable or usb connector. I also cannot seem to know how to get the secret menu up to enter in keys posted the other day.

when I go to parental settings all it allows me to do is change pin (i.e. old pin new pin etc) and the ols pin is 0000 not 2007 so what do I do?

Argh!!!.

When you go to parental press the i key or info key on the hand set then key in 2004 and turn the emu on and make sure you have the correct code there in negravision codes are posted back a few pages just scroll back for the rest ok

hi guy's i bought a star view box, have it here in dublin can any one help me as i know nothing about tuning them in. How do i go about this. Do i log on to a web site & down load the channels or when i plug the box into my pc will it find a site its self. As i said i know nothing about these boxes so any help would be fantastic. I live in a N@L area. thanks .
