starview factory reset not working stuck on language setting

    these codes are already present ... I re-entered them anyway... with no change to the problem

    it shows 143 chnls - each one initially shows the bar at foot of screen - giving name number frequency etc but disappears to reveal a 'no signal' msg on a black screen ..

    (am I repeating myself ? ;-) ...

    Sounds like the box is shagged. It looks like the emulator/tuner is knackered. Whoever you bought this from and then said they fixed it, I would say has pulled a fast one.

    Must say we did try though :)

    oh we did try ..... thnx to you and ferg for your efforts

    Looking on the bright side - all the time and money i saved by sitting here working on this at home and not in the pub - prob broke even in the end..

    and of course the fun I have had - is priceless, ..

    I had the exact same problem and did a search for starview factory reset which brought me to this thread.
    Tried the fix and problem is sorted.
    Thanks again Lads, I would be lost (and sitting watching snow all day long)without your advice.
