where do you thing people got the firmware 260ee from m8

it just gets passed around from people to people, as you now (from one site to another site), as i am sure the guy who posted on this site did now write the firmware himself

Yh. I din't write those flash files. I got the 260 APi from www.satfiles.co.uk but because people kept asking me for it and the site reequires registration to download. I just reuploaded it and posted it on Afterdawn

the new image what it does to you box is it works fine so long as you dont turn off power
but as soon as you switch power off to the box it fails to boot up if you have accidentally flashed your box with the new image 2.60eE than i sugest you reload it with the old 2.57eE
as soon as you can with out powering down once powered down you will not be able to reflash as the box fails to power up

Seems the firmware changes the boot loader.

Sorry if i was not ment to say what i did but people need to know i did not say i got the bin file from here as i did not just to clarify this i got it from sat my new box that came this morning had 259 so i re flashed it with 257Ee it works perfect i think the 257 file is better for the Irish market once again my apologies to ASDA forany misunderstandings
