One last time, the CryptStar firmware IS NOT for the Box. For firmware for TheBox, go to the directory called TheBox, then the directory called Firmware, and download the latest firmware file from there.

Don't tempt me, that question is just asking for it.

Sorry, I've had a long day, and right now I'm getting off here, the family are looking for some attention before it gets too late.
    Hope you get sorted.

The box 2 right at the bottom. I'm told v 4.52 works

I was acting from memory earlier. I'm now told there is 4.54 oin eamo's library. Wouldn't be there if it wasn't the latest one.

Hi all. I unfortunately downloaded the new S*arview Clone firmware which was uploaded from an unknown source the other day. The box was working fine but having read the postings from Fer*us and so many I tried to put back the original 2.57 version - when I do this the box still seems to autoupdate...does this mean that the new software cannot not been overriden???

Thanks in advance for your help

Press menu /system information that will tell you which firmware you currently have installed

All, there is no need to change firmware to these versions

    Click on links below

    Starview 1

    http://rs28.rapidshare.com/files/106622819/starview_latest_file.zip

    Starview 3 super box

    http://rs28.rapidshare.com/files/106621632/GTRom_Super_6.00e.zip

Download these files, use GTrom software (Starview 1) Starview 3 superbox works without the need to browse for firmware

ALL ABOVE ARE FOR GENUINE BOXES ONLY

    also Eurovox

    http://rs28.rapidshare.com/files/106612203/eurovox_files.zip

after firware update make sure emu is on and it will start update, AU fixed so no need for manually entering codes

Are these files OFFICIAL releases? There was one on rapidshare for clones which was reported as killing boxes! All OFFICALLY released files are available here.

    http://eko.4shared.com/

I'm not saying you're wrong BUT on here we prefer to download from a trusted source now rather than from a n00b who we don't know.

Just re read your post. At first you say there is NO need to change the firmware then direct to a firmware update?????????????????????????
