Starview Genuine & Starview Clone

    I forgot ... to take the other cap out ... so have i fked it up ?...

    And how would i go about JTAGing it .. Thanks for your helpfull advicee

    You only need to replace the C11. Jtag I can give you info if the cap replacement doesn't work.

    Replaced the cap NO joy .. Would be greatfull foe the JTAG Info ..

    Better off getting a Starview Jtag kit from here it will have all you need for £10 plus P&P.

    i got one off flebay with a cd etc .. i can JTAG a clone .. easy just the genuine are a diff setup ..could i still do it with the one off flebay

    Got mine from there recommended by Sc0users and Jtag 4 starviews and 2 EV's so far and no problems whatsoever.

    Any one no if i can JTAG the box with the on ei bought off flebay .. and how i can do it thanks ..

    Sorry to keep bumpin this thread but i carnt find a guide and i need it fone a.s.a.p .. Please could some 1 post a JTAGING guide for a genuine starview

    thanks i just get confused with this ...

    JTAG is in the corner of the PCB and is a 20pin connector (no pins, just pads) layed out in a 2 x 10 array.

    Pin1 is the square pin.

    Cheers Karl ;) Here are the Jtag points for a genuine SV:

    TP12 = TCK white wire
    TP13 = TRST blue wire
    TP14 = TMS yellow wire
    TP15 = TD0 green wire
    TP16 =TD1 red wire

    You need to be very careful when soldering to the pads as they can be damaged quite easily.
