Starview in Dublin gone down

Starview in Box's on the ntl range have all gone, I am using the starview with the 2.55 software. Anyone got updated keys or firmware????

 

Im looking for keys too, dont think its the firmware. Ive tried it on 257,258 and 259.

 

Anybody have any news about the boxes going down, im in Dublin and all my channels are gone bar 2. Help would be appreciated.

 

I'm in the same boat as you celt22.. Is it just a matter of some techie whizz getting a new code to put in at the parental lock screen???

how do you go about entering the codes whats the process in doing so

GO TO "MENU" THEN KEY IN 1570 ON REMOTE THEN GO TO "NAGRAVISION" & KEY IN EITHER:

PRESS "OK" TO CONFIRM

IT SEEMED TO HAVE WORKED 4 ME IN DUBLIN

Hi all , I am new here and in Dublin also, I bought a Starview box of a local guy and it went bang yesterday like everyone elses , I called him and he came to my house to recode it in 2 mins.
It cost me 10 Euro to get done and I didn't mind paying as it would be well worth it
I have read over a good few threads about this problem and I checked my codes he installed and they are slightly different to whats posted on this site. I would hate to walk on anyone's toes or confuse people but I am sharing my codes with you all to see if it helps any of you . Hope you don't mind me doing this !

Just my luck, I got a star box from uk and it has to be programmed. I have downloaded the GTRom and when I try to run the link it jumps to Microsoft because it can not understand the software download. AM I doing this right? Appreciate any help.

 

When you say it jumps to Microsoft i dont understand. How ever
1 =Connet your box to the PC and power the box up.
2 = Launch the GT Rom Programme
3 = Choose the COM Port that the Box is in contact ( on my PC it's COM 2 ) It may vary from PC to PC.
4 = The Model should auto detect
5= Insure the File Type is APP. File Only
6 = Click on the Bin File Button and find your Bin File ( Version that are out there include 256e+ 257e 258e and so on )
7= Click once on the Bin File you want and then click open
8 = You should then be back into the GT Loader and then Click Download. You should then see a percentage bar indicating the uploading of the software ( Bin file ) to your box.
