Starview losing channels

regarding the problem with the missing freq / Channels (freq 323000 kHz). I did a factory reset (as mentioned by Celtic's earlier post) and the channels are back!
However, i am not convinced as the signal takes a while to detect. Anyway, for now they are back and will monitor for a while. Thanks for the help.

 

spoke too soon, just checked the channles and they are gone again. All channels that are on freq 320 KHz! Any suggestions?

 

sometimes when work is in progress u can scan the channels but some not viewable due to work by cable co.they usually cum back 3-4 days

 

thanks cactikid, before doing the factory re-setting the channels were gone for a 2 - 3 weeks. It seems to be the same freq all the time.

 

Mt Starview box keeps scrambling, screen all jumpy, loses picture, number on box goes to 0, makes a noise and then turns off...any ideas? Is my box f@cked??

Yes, it will. However, it doesn't take too long to re-order them.

 

Why not do your own Channel Data File (Channel Dump) it will save you a lot of time and trouble, particularly if you have sorted your own Fav. Groups - then you can just download it straight back. Using the GTRom loader "Channel Data File" box checked to upload to your PC (Give it a name ie. My Channel Dump) and then Download back to the box after Factory Reset, nothing then out of place or order.

 

What do I need to do....I reset my box but now it wont even stay on long enough to install the channels before scrambling...tis driving me mad!

BTW, you wont get Set@nta 2 until the GAA is over as TV3 have the rights to live Gaa.

same problem back ....

Did a factory rest and got all the channels detected. After 1 - 2 weeks, all channels on freq 323000 KHz (includes Sky Movies Comedy, Action ,etc) went. They are still missing and if i do a re-scan, it comes up as 'failed' on this freq.

Would appreciate any suggestions!
