Hi I have been trying for ages to get at the races back on the starview i am totally useless with technology so g=forgive my ignorance. I have tried deleting the channels and doing a rescan but same thing happens i can see the info for the chanel ie. i can see what program is meant to be on but it says scrambled or bad programme. I have no idea how to do a scan where you input the freq you want. when i press info it says 347500khz 6887ksps i am on nthell dub and the system info is api ver: 6.00e_E boot ver 8.0 4 feb 08

any ideas in fool proof steps please and thanks

To do a manual scan on a particular frequency, Menu -Installation OK (your provider will be showing top right), down to Manual Scan OK and enter the frequency in Down Frequency for example type 347500 ignore the dot, and press OK, it will bring in the channels on that frequency. Also that version of firmware you have on the box is the first version released there are other's in Eamo's FTA Library, check here for more info >>>>>>>>

if u factory reset and autoscanned again and emu to on is it listed in menu yes same frequency as above but no picture could be cable breakdown on cc and when repaired it will come back itself.

As malci said earlier, the 6.00 is an earlier version, flash it with the 6.01 & you should be ok.

Well very pleased for you anyway, and your welcome. :)

EDIT:- I would recommend that you do consider updating your firmware if you have further problems.

    That`ll kill the clone alan
Use the Crypstar V.1.4-Core 2.57 bin for a clone SV1.
