Follow link to the new firmware, D/load it straight to your usb stick.

1: Remove Ethernet cable from sv
2: Put usb stick in box and go to usb in menu.
3: Load the new showmustgoon 2 firmware using [s/w upgrade].
4: After the sv has rebooted, Reset the sv to Factory Default
5: Scan for channels from main feed, do not change any settings(do not connect LAN yet)
6: Connect Ethernet/LAN to sv (give it 30 seconds)
7: Go to a encrypted channel like sly sports 1, press 1819 on Remote, should say enable

8: if after 2 mins, channels dont work, then turn off sv at the back, then after 2 mins turn on again

Spud, like you said it's a bit weird actually, as I say, tried all that and still 'not connected'. Kryptview works fine so connection must be there. The only thing I can think is that my modem is a modem/wireless router in one. As I say works fine with the Kryptview but not with the SV. Anyone else running a SV successfully with an all in one modem? Doggie8, cheers for that, followed your script before but I dont think this box likes me!! Will have another go later. Will let ya's know if I suss it.

got this info bellow from another forum (copied and pasted)

    "
    Not Connected - The ANSWER

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE ANSWER : I made a phone call ( don't ask me to whom ) they told me that the new SMGO 2.12 was developed to stop clone boxes and leechers using their server.
Any box that has not been registered (connected) with the Original SMGO will need to be manually added to the server list at the moment, but they are trying to reprogramme the firmware to faciltate this problem, nothing is going to be ready for maybe 1 week, the SV team are fully aware of this problem and will endeavour to fix this ASAP. What a load of bull m8 first off there are no clones and tbh this was a way of cutting down on boxes accessing the server and pray tell how are they going to be able to manually add boxes to server that will be an impossible fete now to do as they wont even have the mac from the box

maybe "Ghostbusters" people involved with the coding of boxes dont talk to people on forums m8 why would they take that risk of the poster been found and then them been found as well just would not happen same as you would not get SV or KV posting

Beggers belief on why you would mail anyone with this info? First we have someone asking to set up CS swap shop info on here and now this, christ on a bike are some of you lacking in the head dept. As e45 said above, why would the guys running a cable CS want this info? Wake up and smell the coffee

Could have told people that months ago as SV dumped support for the boxes so bye bye starview yes there is another source looking after the boxes now and if they had of done thing correctly in the first place this would not have happened so what does this say about the new body looking after the boxes as bad as the first lot SV and tbh i would not send any info to any email address especially to people we never heard from before and anyone that does needs their heads examined sound if you bought from supplier then contact them but dont be sending your info to an unknown source that is my advice take it or send your info.

Thankfully some ppl have managed to get there boxes online before the server was locked,
which is thankfully more than they had a few weeks ago.

Spend your £ wisely in future, life is a gamble.....
