aparently...those boxes that are working, they all have an expiry date now....so im convinced the firmware released yesterday was only to add the expiry date on the boxes, so they go dead.

and it was only in May, when the previous smgo was released, and we were told every1 would get another 12 months from that 1819 enable garbage.....what a load of bull that was.

some people had their box only for couple of months, and theirs expire in 6 weeks time.

you can find out if your box has expiry date by pressing MENU, then go to Utility and click System info.

have said it for months, dont touch a SV product, now its coming home to roost for some of you, this is why some box aint working on this firmware, the boxs that are flashed with this that dont connect, get yer wallet out, those who have connected, start the clocks,

??? Huh? who was talking to you??? I am not directing my comment at you, I am making a general statement about SV and their usual shoddy ways, as I can see some in this thread who would have said they great are now realizing what they are....

Why even buy one of these after the trouble they have given for the last year? It beggers belief, how many times do you have to be stung by a bee to realize not to touch one again, a child realizes after the first sting..... some of you must be gluttons for punishment or like doleing out good money over bad

EDIT It wouldnt surpise me if the next firmware removes this until the SV Stock Mountain is gone and then Adios, just hazarding a guess

Nope, So I ask again who was talking to you? no one, You crawl out from under your rock in the midlands, presumed I was directing my comment to you and now you resort to telling folk to F off, Do my own work? what the fff you on about you idiot, you havent a clue what your talking about do you, your another one of the hit and runners who come on here and take and take and put nothing back into the site or forum, you are better off keeping schtum you parasite, before you make an even bigger dope out of yourself.

Folks you have 3 days from yesterday to update your box, if you dont your box will no longer work.

You will now prob get about Oct / Nov 2011 at the latest now from your box regardless of when you bought it, as the new firmware has the expiry date on it now, after this who knows what will happen to your box, but known Sv it will be either a new box after they shift their massive stockpile they still have, or a payment just like Sat folk have.
