STARVIEW NEW FIRMWARE

Sounds to me like you need to check your feed remove any splitters etc and go direct also make sure you in the correct port at back.you should always pick up the tv/radio signals if the feed is live though pic will be blank,that's where the LAN part comes into it,once you recieve the signal follows mickah's instruction and happy times will be yours!

 

When the SV box expires after 12 months, does the system give any messages/warnings in advance? any1 know please? thanks.

 

I would say you will just be cut off.

2. Install
3. Restart
4. Do a factory reset
5. Scan for channel in your area
6. just go to Sky Sports 1 press 1819 then let it update
7. Wait a few minutes and connection should be established

I reckon it will be sit tight until more come on and other firmwares are released for the other boxs, such as the combo etc

hi guys i have a problem with these sv boxes loaded up the first box and did exactly what it said on the posts above and when it comes to scanning channels i can't pick up anything no tv or radio the feeds are ok with no splitters so loaded old carling back onto the box did a scan and all channels came up so what am i doing wrong???? scanning 6887 quam 64 help please

 

thanks done it dont even need to do a factory reset just up date firmware go to sp1 enter 1819 and its clear

 

try setting symbol rate to 'auto' after scan completes got to sly sports 1,key in 1819 then go get a cuppa then after a while it will be on

nope, time to bin that mate, nothing in Ireland working except Sat and using CS for chans, no cable options

 

Hey Mickah, still got my DDigital Duo, any idea if any new firmware coming out for them, or is it just a case of "wait and see",?

 

av loaded the starview 7 show must go on firmware .. a few channels have appeared including sly sports 1 & 3.. when do extra channels appear and would i have to load any new firmware ?

 

Yeah I would say hold tight mate, they are working on firmwares, bit of luck they will get something out for this one, the Combo box is next I think...

Do a reset and re-scan, there may be more, but a small but of patience, its slowly coming back, still work to be done

Thats the last firmware, if you dont have it on yours flash the box with it, if you have, just sit tight and wait until more appear

Why? just scan your box.... do a scan every so often, once a day even, there are 200 to 300 chans in the uk,

 

just a quick note that the starview 6 & 7 do work in northern ireland and its just the republic that nothings working incase anyone gets confused

 

hiya, dont know where to start, can someone please put instructions on, from download to putting on usb , how to scan, when to put 1819 in, when to put lan cable in or should it be in right from the start, sorry to be a pain, many thanks, well confused.......
