starview not finding any channels !!! help

IRISHGUYM - Hi I had the same problem some time ago,bought 4 boxes and all worked, for some reason, the box went a bit bogey.Tried rescanning and it picked nothing up, 0 channels.I sent it back to seller and he replaced it no questions asked.

What you can try though is a factory reset for the last resort.do a factory reset, code is 0000, delete all channels and start from scratch with automatic scan etc,turn emu on etc and see how that works

 

yea i tried that as well. i think ive tried everything at this stage. i think it could be to do with the fact that its chours and not ntl, even though they're the same company now

 

Hey there all, really big problem was wondering if any one could please help me? I cant tune in stations on my star view box. It wont let let me tune in on n** and tw in the instalation, and it wont let me out eighter? Any suggestions?

 

you should have said c***** thats a different story all together.
go to manual scan set symbol rate 6875.put the frequency to 250.000 and enable network scan.do it a couple of times you will get channels.

 

switch your box off from the back and try again

 

Tried that several times. Any other suggestions?

 

where are you?uk or ireland.and does it always get stuck on the scan or does it say 0 channels found

 

In Dublin, no never before. Just the same as everyone else, when it goes I just put the new codes in etc. Have it about 1month

 

do you have the cable split into another room or the cable straight from the n** cable box on the wall.

ok bring it into the room with the cable from the wall scan the channels .then turn emu on and put in the latest codes once you can see all channels bring it back to the room with the split cable.

hey.. i have jus update my box with the 400 n all the channels are working except for the channels on the frequency 387.500 i tried mannually scanning them but it still isnt working.. any1 got a way i can fix it???

 

Are you on Ch**** network?

 

what is a channel network? is it like ntl?

 

choru* we tend not to mention the CC by full name for obvious reasons.
