Starview not finding channels

    hope you can help might be me being stupid. I've just got a new starview box from ebay and loaded the flash file but it wont find any channels :( the file was STAR VIEW_26012007_257eE_api i'm in a n*l area if that help. hope you can help i'm really gutted

    have you got the cable plugged in the right place. there are 2 inputs on the rear one for cable and one for antenna. the cable one should be used.

    have you selected the correct cable supplier in the installation menu/

    I selected N*L and did a full scan

    not sure what that means but i'll have a play. I've got a eurovox max3 working fine in the same house.

    OK i've re-scanned the box using ex c&w area and it's found all the channels. all the free channels work but the other channels just say data is being updated and then dose it again and again and so on.

    hope you can help

    you need to input the latest keys in the nagravision menu

    press menu followed by 1570

    go to nagravision menu

    go to line of codes numbered 00 and change them
    scroll back to box containing 00 and press right arrow
    the number should change to 01 scroll down and enter the second key
    when finished each line press ok to save.

    press exit once and scroll to emu and make sure it is set to on.

    your starview should now be working.

    C & W
    Key 0 - 1F EE 87 F9 E3 FA 2A AB
    Key 1 - EC 05 9C B0 3B 95 A2 A7

    and it still dose the same am i missing something

    thanks but i've been told that there is a problems with that update burning boxes out ?

    you are better off not updating the firmware until the fixed software is released
