Hi Ferg, Celtic, Main. That didn't work for my box, now I have no channels at all!! Am I using the wrong codes?

Line 00 = A9 86 6E EA 39 EA 09 49

Line 01 = 9E 40 85 78 E7 82 10 06

 

the codes are right.
when u do an autoscan does it say how many channels it has scanned in ?

 

Did you select your right provider in the installation area then do your scan

make sure your codes are right just check them as you need to go to key data and put codes in there one row at a time and press ok to save then go back up to where the 00 is and scroll to right to change this to 01 then back down to key data and put the other row in press ok again then exit out and check EMU is switched on then exit twice more and check then ok

 

Yeah it says Zero!

 

What shows zero the codes or what

 

when I do autoscan, it takes about 3/4 mins to scan and when it is 100% complete it says 0 channels scanned.

 

Can you go to menu and installation and tell me what provider is on the top of it

 

I can't I'm afraid, I'm in work. But I did put in NTL when doing it. I will try again tonight and see how it goes then let you know

 

Also make sure your cable is working take it out of the box and put into the tv also make sure you have it plugged into the right connection on the box cable in ok and your scart is in the right place as well

AND CHECK YOUR CODES AGAIN THE 00 AND THE 01 THAT THEY ARE NOT THE WRONG WAY AROUND OK

 

either that or there is no firmware on it at all !

 

Pretty sure I have the right stuff on it! I must be doing something wrong.

 

what firmware is on your box
check it by hitting system info !
If the channels are not scanning in then it is either a prob in your area or the cables in your box are not in the right position !

 

There is a couple of reasons why you are getting nothing so try these and see
1 Check the cable from the wall that it is going to the cable input on the box

2 you are using a scart lead and it is properly seated

3 after you have done this then do this ok and let me know

1 Go to menu first
2.factory settings,password code 1668,press ok for it to delete the channels
3.Then turn your box off and wait a moment then turn back on again
4.pick your language,english then press ok.
5 go to installation,cable network Check for your provider,automatic scan.
6 once its done scanning,press exit exit twice from here
7.now your in the main menu,,press 1570 on remote pad.
8.now your in the cas menu,press the down tab once,to go to emu and turn it on,exit three times to get back to screen and view channels
