starview prob

    help please my starview switches off by itself with different numbers ie 0,6,2,8 running on api ver;2.57-e any ideas

    Sounds like a faulty PSU. Have you tried to reflash it?

    sorry 4 soundin a bit thick is that the same as updatin firmware

    You could try to jtag it but I would still say it is a fault on the power supply board.

    Could be something as simple as a blown or bulging capacitor. Bring it to a TV repair shop and ask them to take a look at it if you do not think you can do it yourself, obviously just say its a Free To Air box :)
