it was indeed mate and also it was that post 4 below there for the frequency change i followed .... there was also a new set of codes about 3 weeks ago i got him to try those aswell but no joy .. i've been doing this for years and must admit i'm confused this time lol... cheers for trying to help
As you have not got the box in front of you it is hard to verify, it could be something as simple as a digit or letter wrong on a code input.
i appreciate that may be the issue ... i will phone him tonight and talk him through it ... and if i get a problem i'll pop back on here and hope someone else is as helpful as you've been
cheers scouser Just to double check i will get him to do the following: restore factory settings turn off at the back for 2 mins then turn on then update all the codes for all area's turn on the emu then hopefully hey presto or is there something else i've missed
Menu > Factory Setting PIN 1570 OK to delete Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on Input codes for all providers. English > Installation Choose N*L, etc Automatic Scan Press OK Exit Do an autoscan again for each provider Menu 1570 Turn EMU key ON Exit , exit , exit That should be it, failing that we can try a channel dump for his provider and area.

Hey all im in trouble again theres gotta be somethin wrong in my area. even with the booster im missin channels an freq 395.000 ,307.000 ,315.000 ,299.000 ,291.000 ,402.000. now im pretty sure its not a prob wit the box cause brang it to work 2day everything worked fine now bac home only the oter freqs work plz HELP goin crazy

The cable you have coming into the house how many connections have you got on it just one or have you got it connected to another tv as well
