starview problem?

Thanks for the reply Karl. I hope you're right. The reason why I raised the point is that for the past 3-4 months the channel has been on non-stop. Now all I get is the 'Data being updated'.

Just as a matter of interest, what frequency do you have set against this channel?

if ur on auto update loop ur firmware might not have autoroll[ finding new codes ]

 

How would I resolve that issue?

 

Im in Ireland balcee but its same scenario but diffent freqs

 

All the cables are in place as instructed

 

I know you say you are on VM but you also say you have a freeview box. Do you have a live digital cable feed from VM?

Ive lost my Setan*ta Sports one, Im from Teeside and have N*L & a starview Box.
A couple of people have given me varied channel Frequencies none of which have found the channel!!

Any ideas?

I know you have tried freq to get this , try manual scan on 611.000 and put Network Scan to "Enable" and press OK , Again , check the end of your channel listing and see if its there (Go back as far as the last 20 channels)

Just a quick question ... Have you got your channels in order of pref's BBC1 , BBC2 , ITV etc ?

I do appreciate you help Hounest!! But it picks up no channels on fq 611.000.
I did also have my channels in order but ive just restored factory settings and automatic scanned, but again no setanta sports 1!!

 

Thats what I was going to suggest next

Try manual scan on 299.000 , this was a problem a few weeks back and different people got it back on different manual scans , hope you get it , if not try factory setting this method below

Menu > Factory Setting
PIN 0000
OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

English > Installation
Choose Provider etc
Automatic Scan
Press OK
Channels found
Exit

Press Menu then 1570
Turn EMU key ON

Exit , exit , exit

 

Ive done that Celtic, but still no Setanta 1!!

Im sorry you cant get it , I had a look around some threads , try scan on 355.000

 

Just the regular tv aerial fed into the VBox. What else do i need?

hi i had my starview 2 the box since sept and i watched the hatton fight and all wwe on pay per view so far but the channel is having some problems it say it is updadating but it is on a loop and gets to ethier 130-150% done then starts again is there a problem as the royal rumble is on in a few weeks

 

codes have changed check yours

 

how do i do that mate plz

 

do u have working channels on your box,or do u get updating on screen?if u get bbc1 itv sky one it is not a code problem,but maybe a frequency change.report back

 

heya, could someone please give me the link for the codes for Dublin, i have everthing working and its just coming up a black screen with a blue box saying info data is being updated,

I have been having the same problem where 'Data being updated' is coming up on the screen. I have tried switching it off at the back but it hasnt cured it. I have also restored the factory settings and retuned the stations but no luck. The key emu is on.

Anyone any ideas???
