Menu > Factory Setting
PIN 0000
OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on
English > Installation
Choose Provider etc
Automatic Scan
Press OK
Channels found
Exit

Press Menu then 1570
Turn EMU key ON

Exit , exit , exit

 

many thanks celtic, have now got 100 channels but aunty is still breaking up and has lost her voice.

 

The scans vary by the amount of transponders it picks up

What area are you in ? If you have N*L you should get about 143 channels

Try another factory setting

i was wondering if anyone can help i have a starview clone box it shows 0 on the display and freezes on one channel the tries to reboot is it totally broke ive had it about a year with no problems

Have put in codes for NTL Dublin and still have noy got all channels? any ideas?

hello iv just found out that i have a clone starview box and i cant get any of the channels in on it the codes im putting in are the ones for dublin as that is wher im from the codes are as follows. - 30th jan - 00-8D.19.08.C2.ED.23.E1.D5
01-0A.C0.F9.31.75.33.78.18

These are the codes im putting in and all im getting is bad or scrambled channel. iv turned on and off the box and iv made sure the EMU is on and that all the wiring is ok and still im getting nothing. but my box is picking up 176 channels but all them are bad or scrambled. iv even let the auto update run up to 260% and still nothing. can anybody help me with this as im going mad trying to fix it.

Hi Can Anyone tell me is there anything different between n*l dublin and n*l dublin, I had a box in dublin and it worked fine sent it to galway and it is only picking up 4 channels

need help again guys, i updated a starview original box to firmware 4.0 and i dont have any picture or sound, however i can view the normal channels, i have read all the postings from before and tried everything from turning it off for a min to redoing the scan and still nothing,the scart is in correctly,and when i unplug this box and put in my own box it works fine,so has anyone got any ideas? thanks

 

check emu on,menu 1570 emu on exit 3 times.
go up to scousers link above and click his link for problems and codes info there for sound problem

 

Press Menu then 1570 and press the "Set Default Key" , press OK and tune into S*Y Sports and it should auto update for you


Aslo Press Menu then 1570
Turn EMU key ON

Exit , exit , exit

back again, i have downloaded 2.57 as per the instructions including waiting for the message on my computer. i then completed a scan under ntl only found 115 channels switched emu on but no channels to watch, re run the scan found over 300 channels but still not able to watch anything. when i go on to sky sports it tells me that it is scrambled, i have checked my system and the 2.57 download appears to have worked.
have i missed something any comments gratefully received.
