starview problem?

    i went onto menu and typed in on the remote 1570 but nothink seems to work just says scrambled channel on the vh1 channel

    If its a new "The Box" you need to flash it with firmware as boxes are only shipped with FTA firmware.

    yes its new just bought it last week. i did have all the channels on it but cuddent get the ppv channel so i was fiddlin on with it and now i cant recive nothink

    You say you had all channels but now they dont work and you cannot enter the CAS screen using 1570?

    Can you give more info., did you purchase the box pre-flashed, or not. if you bought it unflashed you couldnt possibly have subscription channs.

    can you watch dvd through starview box? I have only one scart connection at the back of my tv which is used for the box. There are two scart connections at the back of the box though. Can I connect my dvd to one of these and if so how do i bring the dvd channel up on the box?

    do ya go to system setup and then parental control? n also on the transfer shud it be CH data or sw code?

    Press Menu on your remote , then when the menu pops up , just input numbers 1570 and the secret menu CAS appears , the bottom option is the EMU , turn it ON and exit , exit , exit and it should get your channels back

    ok thanks i will try tht. ive noticed wen i automatic tune my channels in it highlights the channels yellow which means i cant get them n some are highlighted white which i can get its strange
