starview problem?

    ive typed in the pin number and have typed in 2004 but theres still nothink

    i think its where ya type loads codes in but not sure were to go.

    Hi. Im in Dublin area with Starview box, updated codes yesterday and all good but today have no signal on any channel. Went through the usual steps,check codes,EMU etc with no joy.Did a factory reset and followed all the steps.Still no channels found on Auto scan and am now stuck on the language menu and can't get out of it back to the channels. Can anyone help??

    hi all, i recently purchased starview2 THE BOX with 4.54 firmware on it, but from reading some of the posts here i flashed it back to 4.50 so i could access the secret menu and it work fine but the ploblem is that it hasn't auro-rolled the new codes which changed yesterday. could anyone tell me with why this is happening?

    Sometimes it needs a kick, just press the default button and put it on Sly sports to update.

    how do ya get to menu were ya put all the codes in coz i changed them before n it didnt work and im not sure how u get back to them

    Try 1668,if that doesn't do anything,go to 'System Info' on the menu and post back what API version is on it.

    It's still not available on cable in the UK yet or in Ireland.

    Do what i told you last night except as co says type in 1668,try and read the info your being given carefully and you will get your channels back

    it's the box pvr???
    thanks to jbvid
    If channels not clearing goto Menu / System Setup / Press ok with Parental Control highlighted then press i then 2007, this should put you in the CAS SYSTEM. (May need to do this a couple of times quite slowly to get into CAS SYSTEM)
